The route pattern must point to the SIP trunk between Communication Manager and Communication Manager Messaging.
Procedure
Go to the SAT interface prompt, enter change route-pattern<nnn> , where <nnn> represents the number of the new trunk group that you created while creating a trunk group for messaging. You must enter this number for messaging to function properly.
The system displays the route-pattern window.
Verify that the fields on this window are appropriate to change the route pattern.
